Founded in 1976 our company began on the site where it is currently located, west of Thief River Falls, Minnesota on what was then a working farmstead. Through the years we have consistently reinvested. The buildings on the site, particularly two of them; the office and the south plant, were former turkey barns that have been converted and remodeled to provide a pleasant atmosphere for our employees.

Our business site currently is a beautiful setting, welcoming all to come in and sit down. Our entire yard area has been landscaped to receive our visitors.

We began as a tool and die business, first involved with making specialty machines and production stampings for other customers. Although we still make tooling we currently are a production machining facility working mostly with aluminum. Through the years, we have worked with many different designs in aluminum parts, machining from billet, forgings and castings, but mostly extrusions. We also have the ability to cut to length, form, stamp and heat treat aluminum.

The complete layout of our buildings is used as the work progresses in stages with each a part of the manufacturing process, from the receiving of raw materials, the cutting and distribution of the parts to the right stage of manufacturing , and finally to the warehouse when the parts are complete and ready to ship.

We are presently a family run business with three generations active in daily operations.

We strive to being a key partner with our surrounding communities while taking great pride in the people places that make up northwestern Minnesota.

With the ups and downs of the economic cycle Ericco has been able to remain robust.

Due to the company’s ability to constantly look to the future with a strong desire for continued growth expansion is always in mind. We are interested in meeting with new companies from any place that has a need for anything we have to offer.
